| The firm was formed in Genoa in 1961 and for 47 years has been established as a law firm with a high devotion to the clients' interests, conjugating high quality services, professionalism and speed with competitive rates and fees. The firm offers specialized assistance in the following branches within commercial law and practice: shipping, transportation international trade and related insurance matters, general commercial practice (which was expanded to include company law, competition and banking law matters initially to cope with the shipping community clients' needs however this has later on become an autonomous field of available legal services supplied by a department now mainly based in Milan since 1997). In these areas the firm is regularly involved in “preventative” law, providing with assistance in a full range of contractual and non-contractual matters. The firm's activity within domestic and international litigation (including arbitration and other ADRs) is also prominent Since 2007 the commercial law department has also gemmated a distinct group of lawyers specialized in IP law in conjunction with a professional partnership signed between the firm and the ltd company Porsia & Associati (european patent attorney & advisors based in Genoa and Milan). |
